This 6-week course aims to shift our focus from ill health to health. At first we look at why we suffer physical symptoms which then helps us see what the body is already doing to heal. Healing is a natural process rather than something we have to work hard to achieve. As a result of this course you will

The course contains 5 weekly sessions for a small group of people who want to improve their physical wellbeing. The initial session is 2 hours and follow-up sessions are 90 minutes each). There is also a final 90 minute session some weeks after the course to help you incorporate the teaching into your life.
Spaces are limited to 8 participants (with a minimum of 4). Meetings are held online via Zoom, a user-friendly online application which works on any computer, smartphone or device. Recordings will also be made available for your personal use. "I feel very different since our 6 sessions. Hard to say in what way, but looking at life differently. It's as if I have adjusted the zoom on my mind's eye and I see further but in less detail. I am thinking on two levels at once, much of the time - my personal thinking is still there, thinking about all the bits of my body that are compromised and damaged, and what that means to me in everyday terms; but at the same time, I am seeing that that is just part of the picture, like the ink detail on top of a complex, multilayered painting. And even while I am drawing in the detail, I am finding that I am not experiencing very much feeling with it: I am pulled in to the depths of the abstract background, where anything is possible and nothing is really known. |
